Website Additions, Improvements, & New Features

ree

All,

As part of the ongoing website revamp, we're introducing some new features and accessibility for homeowners, board members, and committee members alike.

To date, the following are in an early-access state:

  • Website Registration

  • Unit File Archives

  • Member Groups

  • Member Chats

  • Community Photos

  • Newsletter, Announcement, and Bulletin Archives

  • Board Meeting Archives (2018+)

  • Website Search Function

  • Events (RSVP, photo uploads)

Website Registration

In the navigation bar on the far right is a new signup button. A window will pop-up and ask for basic information such as your name, email, and unit number. Only homeowners are allowed to sign up to the website. Once your registration has been complete, it will be sent to Operations to verify you are the owner of the unit that was stated and will be approved or rejected.

MEMBERSHIP CAN AND WILL BE REVOKED DUE TO UNIT SELLING, INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR, ETC.

Unit File Archives

Now that we are able to have verified homeowners have access, we are able to upload documents related to units to a folder shared with you! While the archive isn't comprehensive, we will be continuing to maintain the folders and upload additional documents as they are created and/or when additional documents are found. Each homeowner has exclusive access to their unit's file. Files related to your unit will not be accessible by anybody else (with the exception of Operations). With that in mind, access will be revoked to the file if/when a unit is sold.

Member Groups

This is an experimental addition that may or may not be discontinued based on community feedback, behavior, and usage. Since we now have registered members, we've created a forum for homeowners, committee members, STR owners, and board members to interact with eachother, ask questions, and relay feedback. Each member will be assigned to a group based on their status. For example, a board member who signs up will be given access to the board member group as well as the homeowner group. The group function also allows members to upload photos to the site.

Member Chats

This is an experimental addition that may or may not be discontinued based on community feedback, behavior, and usage. The chat feature on the bottom right of the screen that can be used to quickly get in touch with Operations can also be used to chat between members. As with other social platforms, there are community guidelines that must be followed - the community guidelines will be sent to each member upon approved site registration.

Community Photos

With collaboration with our very own Social Committee, we now have a new page dedicated to event photos from social events. Members are encouraged to upload their own photos from events using the upload button in the header. The uploaded files are stored in an Operations folder on the website and can be used for content on the homepage, future events, etc.

If you are in a photo on the website and you do not wish to have it shown, please send us an email and it will be removed.

Newsletter, Announcement, & Bulletin Archives

Previous postings on the website from 2022+ have been restored into our new format and are accessible from the Community tab. The listings are able to be searched by type, date, and content.

Board Meeting Archives

Previously lost in the file abyss of the website, meeting agendas and minutes have been made accessible to homeowners once again! Under the current meeting posts there are links sorted by year to these archives. Keep in mind that there may be missing agendas or minutes as you go back further in time that have not been digitized yet.

Website Search Function

Many owners have been long accustomed to the previous iteration of the website and its organization of links. While adapting to the new changes can be frustrating, we've added a search function at the very right of the menu bar! The search box will also present the most popular pages, links, etc. in case you're looking for something common.

Events

As many of you may already be aware, we are now utilizing the events feature of the website to coordinate and organize events. This will help the Social Committee especially as it allows us to get a better estimate of guests, the ability to check in guests upon arrival, as well as communicate with guests following the event for feedback.

As we receive feedback, the aforementioned additions / changes may undergo additional development and changes. These features are in an early-access iteration at present which means that you may encounter bugs, incomplete information, etc if you choose to utilize them.

Please do not hesitate to reach out and provide feedback!

Thank you.
