Property Update: Upcoming Utility Work

Overview

Southwest Gas has notified the KVPOA office that they will begin work to replace the natural gas line that was damaged a few weeks ago (which previously caused the severe leak and emergency evacuation on the Northwest side of the property). Southwest Gas will be installing a completely new service line to properly restore and secure service to building 42 (units 251-258), building 43 (office), and building 44 (gym building).

Work Schedule & Outage Details

Affected Units: Building 42 (Units 251-258), Building 43 (office), Building 44 (gym building)
Start Date: Wednesday, July 22, 2026
Estimated Duration: Wednesday through approximately the end of the week

Impact on Service: Natural gas service will be temporarily disconnected for Units 251–258 during this timeframe. This temporary outage will affect gas-powered appliances, including:Water heaters, furnances / heating systems, gas stoves and ovens
