Facility Update - Parking Enforcement, Seasonal Closures

ree

Kingswood Village Residents,

We're reaching out with a few important updates to help keep our community running smoothly as we head into the winter months. We want to thank everyone for their cooperation in ensuring Kingswood Village remains a safe and beautiful place to live.

Action Required: Parking Placard Enforcement Begins November 20th

To fairly manage our community's limited parking, we will begin mandatory parking enforcement on November 20th. We appreciate your help in getting ready for this! All vehicles parked on Kingswood Village property must clearly display a current parking placard (the rear-view mirror hanger). Vehicles without a valid placard after this date will be subject to a fine, and if the issue remains unresolved, the vehicle may be towed at the owner’s expense.

A friendly reminder that each unit is allocated three parking placards. We still have a considerable number of placards that haven't been claimed, so please make arrangements to visit the office and pick up your placards immediately. It's crucial to do this well before November 20th to avoid any unnecessary fines. Please understand that we won't be able to forgive accumulated fines for owners who simply neglect to pick up their allocated placards. If you have already picked up your placards but have unfortunately lost them, we've sourced a new vendor and can print replacements right away for the board-approved price of $75 per placard.

Key Updates & Season Closures

We want to clarify an important date regarding the removal of boats from the community rack. Please note that the correct deadline for all kayak removal is November 2nd, not October 15th as previously communicated. We currently have one unregistered boat remaining that has not been removed despite our previous notices and emails. To avoid incurring towing fees, the owner of this unregistered boat must remove it immediately, or we will have it towed at their expense.

Finally, the season for outdoor recreation is officially winding down. The pool and sports court are now closed for the winter, and your key cards will no longer grant access to these areas. However, we're pleased to confirm that the gym and restrooms remain available for your use! You can access these facilities using your key card at the gate entrance closest to the bocce ball court.

Your attention to these significant issues and your role as an engaged member of the Kingswood Village community are greatly appreciated.
